Balsamic Maple Syrup Dressing

Ingredients
  • 1 cup olive oil

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt (adjust to taste)

  • 1/4 tsp fresh cracked black pepper

  • Optional:

    • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (for emulsifying + depth)

    • 1 small garlic clove, minced


Instructions
  1. In a bowl or mason jar, combine balsamic vinegar and maple syrup.

  2. Whisk in Dijon (if using), salt, and pepper.

  3. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking continuously to emulsify.(Or seal jar and shake vigorously.)

  4. Taste and adjust. Add more maple for sweetness or vinegar for brightness.


Storage
  • Refrigerate up to 2 weeks

  • Bring to room temperature and shake before serving

  • Mixed greens with goat cheese & walnuts

  • Arugula + shaved parmesan

  • Spinach + strawberries

  • Roasted root vegetables

  • Grilled chicken salads

  • Brussels sprouts


Flavor Variations
  • Herb-forward: Add fresh thyme or rosemary

  • Creamier: Blend in 1 Tbsp Greek yogurt

  • Spicy-sweet: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes

  • Citrus lift: Add 1 tsp orange zest
